Good news for Nokia Windows Phone fans in India. Today Nokia India announced the release of the Nokia Lumia 610 and the special limited edition of the Nokia Lumia 800 The Dark Knight Rises. Nokia also launched and its Music store and Mix Radio app for Lumia smartphones users in India.
The Nokia Lumia 610 is the most affordable Windows Phone in the Lumia family Nokia Lumia 610 features a 3.7-inch WVGA screen and is powered by 800MHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor, it has 256MB of RAM, 8GB of storage space and 5 MP rear camera and it comes with all the goodies from Nokia: Nokia Maps, Drive, Music and Transport.The Nokia Lumia 610 is priced at Rs 12,999 and will be available in black, cyan, magenta and white from Nokia Stores
starting tomorrow.
The Nokia Lumia 800 The Dark Knight Rises limited edition has a batman logo laser-etched on the back and will come preloaded with exclusive trailers, wallpapers, movie information, ringtones, and a game. There will be only 200 units available and will go on sale in Mid-July from Nokia’s website for Rs. 24,999.Nokia today also announced the launch of Nokia Music Store and Mix Radio service in India. The Nokia Music Store has over 4.5 million songs with 15 domestic and 7 international genres. The Mix Radio app brings Internet radio to Lumia devices and allow users to create custom playlist that can be downloaded for offline listening.The Nokia Lumia 610 will come with pre-installed Nokia Music and other Lumia devices will get this app at end of July.The bad news is that Nokia announced that the Lumia 900 will launch in India in Q3 this year.
